My name is Angaddeep Singh and I am from India. I am currently a fourth year student at Tohoku University under the International Mechanical and Aerospace course. 

I have one brother who is working in the UK and my parents are currently living in Thailand (since April 2014). 

My hobbies are Football (Soccer), Playing the guitar, singing, reading novels, sports in general, interacting with people and figuring why we do what we do etc.

I have been in Sendai for 3 years now and I have had an amazing time. I've had so much fun, made many new friends and have a learnt a lot. I hope to be in Sendai for at least another 2 and half years.

Regarding UP-SLOPE, I started working from December 2013 and I have enjoyed every bit of it. I get to interact with awesome students and while it is a great learning experience it is also a lot of fun. I hope that I can continue teaching here as long as I am in Sendai.

2014.07.02 持ち寄りパーティー


「ポットラックパーティー」って聞いたことありますか。

「持ち寄りパーティー」という意味です。

先週の土曜日、ポットラックパーティーをしました。

約40人が集まり、多くの種類の料理を堪能しました。

全部非常においしい料理でした!!

2014.06.10 送別会

2名の生徒さんが留学されます。

一人の生徒さんはケアンズへ、もう一人の生徒さんはニューヨークへ語学留学に行きます。

彼女達の送別会を今日しました。

インドカレー屋さんでランチ!

おいしかったです!






Two students are going to study abroad.

One student is going to Cairns to study English.

The other student is going to New York.

We gave a farewell party for them today.

We had lunch at a curry Indian restaurant together!

It was nice!

2014.06.03 植樹祭

先週末、7万本の苗木を植える植樹祭が岩沼でありました。

約 7000人が集まりました。

暑かったですが、とてもいい経験になりました。









Last weekend, we had an event to plant 70000 seedlings in Iwanuma. 

The event brought together about 7000 people.

It was hot, but we had a wonderful experience!

2014.04.29 羽生結弦、来仙! 


先週末、ソチオリンピック、フィギュアスケート、金メダリストの羽生結弦さんが来仙し、パレードを行ないました。

パレードを見に92000人が集まりましたが、皆さんは、パレード、見ましたか?









Last weekend,  Sochi Olympic figure skating gold medalist Yuzuru Hanyu  came to Sendai and held a parade.
92000 people gathered to see the event.

先日、Kenに休日について聞いたら「We enjoyed a lot.(たくさん楽しんだよ)」と言いました。
この文、間違っています。何が足りないでしょう?
正解は We enjoyed it a lot.です。
enjoyのあとにはいつも目的語か目的格の代名詞が来ます。








The other day, when I asked about his holidays, Ken said "We enjoyed a lot."  
The sentence is wrong. What is missing from the sentence?
The correct sentence is   "We enjoyed it a lot."  
You need "it" after  "enjoyed. "  


Enjoy is always followed by either an object or an object pronoun .
